Blue Plastic Bottle, White Lotion Pump With Overcap, Glossy Gold, 250 ml

The blue plastic bottle made of PET with a volume of 250 ml, fitted with a pump and overcap, is a complete set ready for filling with liquid and thinner cosmetic products: body and hair oils, facial serums, liquid soaps or light lotions. With each press, the pump dispenses a small, repeatable amount, so the contents can be used without unscrewing anything and without fingers touching the neck. The overcap protects the pump head during storage and transport.

The plastic bottle is lightweight, so the set is suitable for the bathroom, for travel and for packaging products that are shipped to customers. How the pump works

The pump screws onto the bottle neck with a 24/410 neck finish, the dip tube reaches the bottom, and pressing the head dispenses one dose of approximately 0.2 ml. This amount corresponds to a single application of facial serum or of oil to the ends of the hair; for body oil or liquid soap, you press several times. The bottle does not need to be opened during use, which limits exposure to air and contaminants.

The head is white and the collar is gold. The overcap fits directly onto the head and prevents accidental pressing in a bag or in a parcel. The pump is made of PP plastic and aluminium.

What it is suitable for

• Body and massage oils – thinner oils pass through the dip tube without problems, and a small dose limits waste.
• Facial and hair serums – one press corresponds to a usual single application.
• Liquid soaps and wash gels – the 250 ml volume is a practical size for the washbasin or the shower. For thicker gels, test whether the pump dispenses them reliably.
• Light lotions and liquid emulsions – liquid body lotions are fine, but thick creams and butters will not pass through the dip tube.

Nominal volume and filling

The nominal volume is the amount the bottle is designed for under normal filling. The total volume up to the neck is larger, and the difference forms a reserve for the pump dip tube and for the expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. The bottle is therefore filled up to the nominal volume, not to the brim. If it were filled up to the neck, part of the contents would be pushed out when the pump is screwed on.

Good to know

• Thick contents – the pump is designed for liquid and thinner products. Creams, butters or gels with higher viscosity may not be dispensable, or they may remain in the dip tube.
• Essential oils and solvents – do not expose the bottle to aggressive chemicals. With a high proportion of essential oils, alcohol or other solvents, first check the behaviour of the bottle and the pump with your specific formulation.
• Heat – fill the contents only after they have cooled down, as a hot emulsion or soap can deform the plastic bottle.
• Reuse – after thorough washing and disinfection, the bottle and the pump can be filled again. Rinse the dip tube separately and pump water through the pump until it runs clean.
• Recycling – the bottle is made of PET, and the pump combines PP and aluminium. Before disposal, unscrew the pump so that the materials can be sorted separately.
