FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is this plastic bottle suitable for repeated use?

You can use the bottle repeatedly if you take proper care of it, but it is recommended to follow strict hygiene rules. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the inner surfaces are completely dry is the bottle ready for the next filling.

How should I properly clean and disinfect the bottle with dispenser?

After emptying the bottle, we recommend first rinsing the inner space with lukewarm water, optionally with a mild cleaning agent suitable for cosmetic tools. It is then advisable to use a disinfectant alcohol – for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based – to rinse the bottle and the internal parts of the dispenser. After disinfection, allow all components to dry freely at room temperature and only then reassemble and refill them.

Is the plastic bottle suitable for dishwashers or boiling?

Plastic bottles of this type are not intended for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. Exposure to high temperatures may lead to softening or deformation of the walls, damage to the dispenser and deterioration of the tightness of the packaging. Gentle hand cleaning in lukewarm water, optionally with a mild cleaning agent, followed by disinfection with alcohol is recommended. Such a procedure helps to maintain the functionality of the dispenser as well as the overall appearance of the bottle.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle this packaging if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the bottle, it is recommended to recycle it according to the type of plastic stated in the parameter table for the product. First, empty the packaging as much as possible and, if necessary, quickly rinse away any residue. Then sort the bottle and the closure into the appropriate plastic container according to local waste collection rules.
