Product description

Solid colouring is exclusively for candles and scented waxes. It is a medium made up of stearic acid, soy wax, coconut wax and a mixture of pigments. It can be used in all the vegetable waxes we have on offer.

The colours are intermixable - allowing you to create your own shades.

Solid dyes do not migrate in the waxes - meaning the colours will not mix with each other in your candles.

Recommended dosage: 5-10% for dyeing, 10-15% for dipping

The amount of dye used depends on the desired colour intensity. Start with a smaller amount and add slowly.
If too much dye is added to the candle, the wick may become clogged. Make sure you mix the dye thoroughly, this will prevent colour stains in the candles. When dyeing candles with dyes, it is advisable to use a thicker wick.

Use appropriate protective equipment when handling.
