FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Can this plastic bottle be used repeatedly?

The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed and it does not show signs of damage or wear. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or denatured ethanol of plant origin. After cleaning, allow the packaging to dry completely and only then fill it again. With repeated use, we also recommend monitoring the condition of the closure, sealing and dosing components.

How should I properly clean the plastic packaging before the next filling?

First rinse the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution or warm water with a mild detergent that is compatible with the previous filling. Then rinse the packaging thoroughly with clean water so that no residues of cleaning agents remain in it. After mechanical cleaning, it is important to disinfect the packaging – for this step you can use, for example, IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% denatured plant ethanol. After disinfection, let the bottle dry freely upside down on a clean, non-absorbent surface and only after it is completely dry close or fill it again.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle this bottle if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it, after it has been emptied, into the appropriate separated waste according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. Before discarding, it is advisable to rinse the bottle to remove product residues and to remove any labels if local recycling rules allow this.
