Chia CO₂-to extract BIO is a pure vegetable oil extract obtained from the seeds of Salvia hispanica using supercritical carbon dioxide extraction. This process is solvent-free and preserves all the nutrients in their natural form. The extract is stabilized with a small amount of BIO rosemary antioxidant, which increases its shelf life and protects the fatty acids from oxidation. It has a yellowish to orange colour, a light texture and a mild, naturally nutty aroma. It is a CO₂-to (total extract) which contains a full spectrum of lipid components including polyunsaturated fatty acids, waxes and natural antioxidants.
