The glass bottle with spray dispenser is a practical and elegant packaging intended mainly for filling liquid cosmetic products, cleaning solutions and aromatherapy blends. The transparent glass allows good visual control of the contents and timely monitoring of consumption, while the high‑quality mechanical spray dispenser ensures convenient and even application of the product.
This type of packaging is suitable for various kinds of liquids – from toners and floral waters to facial serums or hair products. In terms of stability and interaction with the contents, glass is a long‑term proven material, which makes the bottle ideal even for formulations with a higher proportion of active ingredients or natural extracts.
This packaging is supplied as a combination of glass bottle and spray dispenser, which makes it ready for immediate use without the need to purchase an additional closure. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (seal integrity, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if proper care is taken and hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and spray dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned and rinsed, and then both parts disinfected with a suitable alcohol‑based product, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and of your new product being affected by residues of the original fill.
The spray dispenser is most suitable for less viscous liquids, such as water‑based and alcohol‑based solutions, hydrolats, toners, air fresheners or light hair and body sprays. For thicker or oil‑based formulations, we always recommend performing a functionality test – to check whether the spray dispenser does not clog the nozzle and produces a sufficiently fine mist. For products that are too thick, a pump or another type of dosing may be more appropriate.
We recommend first cleaning the bottle mechanically – rinsing it with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, then rinsing it thoroughly several times with clean water. The spray dispenser should be flushed in the same way, by drawing the solution into the system and spraying several times. After all parts have dried, apply disinfection using alcohol‑based products, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % ethanol, and allow any alcohol residues to evaporate thoroughly before refilling.
If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend first removing as much of the product residue as possible and dismantling it into individual parts. After being emptied and rinsed, the glass bottle can be placed in a container designated for glass, in accordance with local waste‑sorting rules. The plastic components of the spray dispenser are sorted according to the type of plastic specified in the parameters of the specific product on the Handymade website and according to the recommendations of your collection system. Always follow the information in the product parameter table and the local recycling guidelines.
To navigate the packaging range more easily, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, pharmaceutical bottles, jars or dispensers). In the advanced filter you can narrow down your selection according to key parameters such as neck type, packaging size, colour and material. In this way you will quickly find the combination of container and closure that will best suit your specific product and method of application.
