The packaging can be used repeatedly provided you follow basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and the closure and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. In this way you reduce the risk of microbial contamination and extend the lifetime of your cosmetic products.

How should I correctly clean and disinfect the bottle before a new filling?

Before reuse, we recommend rinsing the bottle with warm water and a mild cleansing agent, rinsing it thoroughly and allowing it to dry completely. Then treat the inner walls and the closure with disinfecting alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. Allow the disinfectant to act and let the remainder evaporate in the air. Do not use boiling or dishwashing in a dishwasher in order to avoid damage to the plastic material.

Is this plastic bottle suitable for the dishwasher or for boiling?

The plastic material of the packaging is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures. When washing in a dishwasher or boiling, there is a risk of deformation of the bottle and the closure, which can negatively affect the sealing and functionality of the dosing. For cleaning, therefore, use only manual washing in moderately warm water and disinfection with alcohol. In this way you maintain shape stability and long-term usability of the packaging.

How can I safely recycle or dispose of this packaging if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend first emptying it completely and removing any product residues.
