Clear round plastic bottle, disc top cap, matte rose gold, 100 ml

A transparent plastic bottle with a capacity of 100 ml and a disc top cap in a matte rose-gold finish, designed for liquid and semi-liquid cosmetic products dispensed by squeezing the bottle. It is particularly suitable for shower gels, shampoos, conditioners, body lotions, massage oils and micellar waters. The clear PET material shows the colour and texture of the contents and is lightweight, making the packaging equally at home in the bathroom, a gym bag or when shipping by post.

The cap opens by pressing one side of the disc, exposing the dispensing opening. Contents can be dispensed with one hand, and snapping the disc shut seals the opening again. The aluminium shell with a matte finish suits gift ranges; the inner PP component with a white centre provides the actual dispensing mechanism.

Which products is this set suitable for

• Shower gels and shampoos – the disc top allows even thicker gel textures through; contents are dispensed by squeezing the bottle.
• Body lotions and lighter emulsions – fluid to medium-viscosity emulsions are dispensed cleanly, with no pump required.
• Massage and body oils – the opening releases oil in small amounts.
• Micellar waters and tonics – thin liquids are dispensed onto a cotton pad; only gentle pressure is needed.
• Travel sizes – the 100 ml volume is well suited to smaller formats, samples of larger products and gift sets.

This set is not suitable for very thick creams, butters or balms. Contents of that consistency will not pass through the dispensing opening and cannot be retrieved from the bottle; a jar is more practical for those.

Nominal and total volume

Nominal volume is the volume for which the bottle is intended under normal filling conditions. Total brim-full volume is the physical volume up to the neck and is slightly larger. The difference provides a margin for the cap and for expansion of the contents with temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim.

What is worth knowing before filling

Before first use, the bottle and cap should be washed, disinfected with alcohol and left to dry completely. Residual water inside the packaging increases the risk of microbial contamination, especially in water-containing products.

The clear material offers no protection against light. Products containing sensitive vegetable oils, extracts or natural colorants should be stored away from direct sunlight, or a dark-coloured packaging should be chosen for them.

For products with a higher proportion of essential oils, concentrated fragrance compositions or solvents, we recommend testing the packaging behaviour on a trial sample. Undiluted essential oils do not belong in a plastic bottle.
