Product description

Clementine essential oil is obtained by cold pressing the fruit peel. It has a pleasant citrus, exotic and sweet aroma.

The general health benefits of this oil include supporting the electrolyte balance in the body, strengthening the immune system, supporting the cardiovascular and also the digestive system. In aromatherapy, like most citrus fragrances, it helps to reduce stress and depression. With its calming effect, it helps in the treatment of insomnia.

In cosmetics, it supports a youthful appearance of the skin and keeps the complexion healthy. Thanks to its antioxidant and antibacterial properties, it is also used for the treatment of acne and other skin blemishes.

All supplied raw materials are of cosmetic grade, not suitable for internal use. When handling, use appropriate protective equipment.

WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS?

Essential oils, also called ethereal oils, are natural aromatic substances that come from various parts of plants – trunks, roots, seeds, flowers, leaves, etc. They give plants their characteristic fragrance and, in addition, they also have healing and protective effects. They act very positively on symptoms on the physical, emotional and mental level.

Their chemical composition is rather complex. Essential oils are obtained from plants most often by distillation, extraction or pressing. Essential oils are highly concentrated and are used directly on the skin only after dilution with carrier vegetable oils (almond, apricot, jojoba, etc.). The only exceptions are tea tree and lavender essential oil, which you can apply directly.

Use essential oils for inhalation or in your cosmetic products; the consumption of any essential oils of any brands is not recommended.

Essential oils are fat-soluble, therefore, if you want to use them in products without oils and butters, use a solvent /solubiliser/.

HOW WILL I USE THE ESSENTIAL OIL?

Making cosmetics and soaps – the required amount of essential oil depends on the specific recipe and the quantity produced.
Inhalation, steam inhalation – drop a few drops of essential oil into an aroma lamp, diffuser or a container with hot water.
Bath – mix the drops of oil in a base oil /coconut, olive.../, in 1 dl of milk or in a teaspoon of honey, pour this mixture into the bathtub. Pure essential oils are insoluble in water, the drops would float on the surface.
Massage – add a few drops of essential oil to cold-pressed vegetable oil (approx. 50 ml) and mix well. Enjoy a pleasant massage.
Sauna – you can choose from conifers, rosemary, eucalyptus, sage, mint or citrus fragrances. The amount of drops depends on the size of the sauna and your taste.

Essential oils are also popular for use in skin care, local compresses, hair masks, oral hygiene care...
