Ginger CO₂-to extract ORGANIC is a concentrated natural extract from dried root of Zingiber officinale obtained from organic farming. It is produced by supercritical carbon dioxide extraction, which preserves the full spectrum of bioactive compounds of ginger without solvent residues. It contains approximately 30–50 % essential oil (with a high content of zingiberene, ar-curcumene, citral and other monoterpenes) and 24–35 % pungent components – mainly gingerols and shogaols. The result is a brown, clear oil with an intense spicy aroma. Type of extraction: Supercritical carbon dioxide extraction (CO₂)Designation: CO₂-to – total extract (complete extract containing volatile substances, waxes and resins)D/E ratio: 17–22 kg of dried ginger to 1 kg of extract

CO₂-to extract is a total extract – a complete extract that contains not only volatile components like essential oil, but also non-polar substances, waxes, resins and pungent gingerols. Thanks to this, it has stronger biological effects and provides the skin with more intensive stimulation and protection.
Ginger CO₂ extract contains gingerols, shogaols, citral, zingiberene and ar-curcumene. These substances have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and circulation-boosting effects.
Yes, it supports blood circulation in the scalp and helps stimulate hair follicles. However, it is recommended to use it at low concentrations (0,1 – 0,5 %).
The abbreviation CO₂-to denotes a total extract – a complete CO₂ extract that includes the full spectrum of plant substances, including volatile, resinous and waxy components. It is richer and more complex than “selective” extracts (CO₂-se), which contain predominantly volatile components.
