Marjoram essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of marjoram flowers to provide the most intense amber, woody, yet spicy aroma. The entire plant is aromatic. It blends very well with orange, lavender, rosewood, frankincense, tea tree, eucalyptus, sage, basil, thyme, chamomile, nutmeg, or cardamom. Its use has proven effective in aromatherapy to support sleep, alleviate stress and anxiety, and thanks to its soothing effects it is used to relieve menstrual pain, either as an ingredient in warm compresses or in a massage blend. It has also found its use in sports – it treats tired and sore muscles and is therefore ideal for sports massages. It can also help at the first signs of a cold as an additive to a hot bath. All supplied raw materials are of cosmetic grade, not suitable for internal use. Use appropriate protective equipment when handling.

WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS?
Essential oils, also called ethereal oils, are natural aromatic substances that come from various parts of plants – stems, roots, seeds, flowers, leaves, etc. They give plants their characteristic scent and in addition have healing and protective effects. They have a very positive effect on symptoms on the physical, emotional and mental levels.
Their chemical composition is quite complex. Essential oils are most commonly obtained from plants by distillation, extraction or pressing. Essential oils are highly concentrated and are applied directly to the skin only after dilution with carrier vegetable oils (almond, apricot kernel, jojoba, etc.). The only exceptions are tea tree and lavender essential oils, which you can apply directly.
Use essential oils for inhalation or in your cosmetic products; we do not recommend the consumption of any essential oils of any brands.
Essential oils are fat-soluble, so if you want to use them in products that do not contain oils and butters, use a solvent /solubilizer/.
HOW DO I USE ESSENTIAL OIL?
Cosmetics and soap making – the required amount of essential oil depends on the specific formula and the batch size. Inhalation, steaming – drip a few drops of essential oil into an aroma lamp, diffuser, or a container with hot water.Bath – mix the drops of oil in a base oil /coconut, olive.../, in 1 dl of milk or in a teaspoon of honey, pour this mixture into the bathtub. Essential oils on their own are not soluble in water; the drops would float on the surface.Massage – add a few drops of essential oil to a cold-pressed vegetable oil (approx. 50 ml) and mix well. Enjoy a pleasant massage.Sauna – you can choose from conifers, rosemary, eucalyptus, sage, mint or citrus fragrances. The number of drops depends on the size of the sauna and your preference.
Essential oils are also popularly used in skin care, local compresses, hair masks, in oral care...
