Product description

Rose Geranium belongs to the group of Geranium as well as Pelargonium varieties. Its botanical name is Pelargonium graveolens var. roseum.

It is used in aromatherapy for its sweet, floral and citrus scent – it has a calming to sedative effect that supports a feeling of relaxation, emotional stability and optimism. It reduces stress and increases energy.

Thanks to its antiviral and antifungal activity, it helps to boost immunity.

It stimulates blood circulation and can regulate hormones, thereby alleviating symptoms of menstruation and menopause.
It facilitates the healing of abrasions, soothes inflammation and relieves physical pain.

All supplied raw materials are of cosmetic grade, not suitable for internal use. Use appropriate protective equipment when handling.

WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS?

Essential oils, also called ethereal oils, are natural aromatic substances that come from various parts of plants – stems, roots, seeds, flowers, leaves, etc. They give plants their characteristic fragrance and, in addition, have healing and protective effects. They have a very positive effect on symptoms on the physical, emotional and mental level.

Their chemical composition is fairly complex. The essences are obtained from plants most often by distillation, extraction or pressing. Essential oils are highly concentrated and are applied directly to the skin only after dilution with carrier vegetable oils (almond, apricot kernel, jojoba, etc.). The only exceptions are tea tree and lavender essential oils, which you can apply directly.

Use essential oils for inhalation or in your cosmetic products; we do not recommend the consumption of any essential oils of any brands.

Essential oils are fat-soluble, therefore, if you want to use them in products without oils and butters, use a solvent /solubilizer/.

HOW WILL I USE AN ESSENTIAL OIL?

Cosmetics and soap making – the required amount of essential oil depends on the specific recipe and the quantity being produced.
Inhalation, steaming – drip a few drops of essential oil into an aroma lamp, diffuser or into a container with hot water.
Bath – mix the drops of oil in a base oil /coconut, olive.../, in 1 dl of milk or in a teaspoon of honey, pour this mixture into the bathtub. Pure essential oils are insoluble in water; the drops would float on the surface.
Massage – add a few drops of essential oil to cold-pressed vegetable oil (approx. 50 ml) and mix well. Enjoy a pleasant massage.
Sauna – you can choose from conifers, rosemary, eucalyptus, sage, mint or citrus scents. The number of drops depends on the size of the sauna and your preference.

Essential oils are also popular for use in skin care, local compresses, hair masks, oral hygiene care...
