Mandarin essential oil was produced by cold extraction of the peel from ripe fruits of the mandarin Citrus Reticulata. The mandarin originates from Southeast Asia and from there it spread to subtropical areas all over the world.

The sweet refreshing scent is used in aromatherapy for its invigorating effects. It combines excellently with grapefruit, ylang-ylang, lavender, sage and basically all oils with a citrus base.

You will also appreciate it as a refreshing agent in your home. It is often used in cleaning products, not only because of the fragrance, but especially for its cleaning properties – it helps remove all dirt from surfaces and also leaves a pleasant scent behind. Since it contains strong antioxidants, it helps support a healthy immune system.

All supplied raw materials are of cosmetic grade, not suitable for internal use. Use appropriate protective equipment when handling.

WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS?

Essential oils, also called ethereal oils, are natural aromatic substances that come from various parts of plants – stems, roots, seeds, flowers, leaves, etc. They give plants their characteristic fragrance and in addition they also have therapeutic and protective effects. They have a very positive effect on symptoms at the physical, emotional and mental level. 

Their chemical composition is quite complex. The essences are obtained from plants most often by distillation, extraction or pressing. Essential oils are highly concentrated and are used directly on the skin only after dilution with carrier vegetable oils (almond, apricot kernel, jojoba, etc.). The only exception is tea tree essential oil and lavender, which you can apply directly.

Use essential oils for inhalation or in your cosmetic products, we do not recommend the consumption of any essential oils of any brands.

Essential oils are fat-soluble, therefore if you want to use them in products without oils and butters, use a solvent /solubiliser/.

HOW WILL I USE ESSENTIAL OIL?

Cosmetics and soap making – the required amount of essential oil depends on the specific recipe and the quantity produced.
Inhalation, steaming – drip a few drops of essential oil into an aroma lamp, diffuser, or into a container with hot water.
Bath – mix the drops of oil in a base oil /coconut, olive.../, in 1 dl of milk or in a teaspoon of honey, pour this mixture into the bathtub. Essential oils themselves are insoluble in water, the drops would float on the surface.
Massage – add a few drops of essential oil to cold-pressed vegetable oil (approx. 50 ml) and mix well. A pleasant massage.
Sauna – you can choose from conifers, rosemary, eucalyptus, sage, mint or citrus fragrances. The number of drops depends on the size of the sauna and your preference.
