Product description

Tea Tree Essential Oil is a natural substance extracted from the leaves and twigs of the plant Melaleuca alternifolia L. Tea tree is an excellent and versatile essential oil that can be used on almost every part of the body for almost any ailment. Its effects are strong and have a beneficial impact on the interconnected systems of the body. It belongs to the essential oils with the strongest antiseptic and antibacterial functions.

In aromatherapy it boosts immunity, fights infections (eliminates airborne bacteria), relieves anxiety, insomnia and overload.
In massage blends it detoxifies and disinfects the body. It soothes inflammation, relieves the pain of minor burns, ulcers, bites and injuries.
In cosmetic products it performs several functions – it reduces scars, disinfects pores, restores the natural oil balance in the skin.

All supplied raw materials are of cosmetic grade, not suitable for internal use. Use appropriate protective equipment when handling.

WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS?

Essential oils, also called ethereal oils, are natural aromatic substances that come from various parts of plants – trunks, roots, seeds, flowers, leaves, etc. They give plants their characteristic fragrance and in addition have healing and protective effects. They have a very positive effect on symptoms on the physical, emotional and mental levels.

Their chemical composition is fairly complex. Essential oils are obtained from plants most often by distillation, extraction or pressing. Essential oils are highly concentrated and are used directly on the skin only after dilution with carrier vegetable oils (almond, apricot, jojoba, etc.). The only exceptions are tea tree and lavender essential oil, which you can apply directly.

Use essential oils for inhalation or in your cosmetic products; we do not recommend consuming any essential oils of any brands.

Essential oils are fat-soluble, therefore if you want to use them in products that do not contain oils and butters, use a solvent /solubilizer/.

HOW WILL I USE THE ESSENTIAL OIL?

Making cosmetics and soaps – the required amount of essential oil depends on the specific recipe and the quantity produced.
Inhalation, steaming – drip a few drops of essential oil into an aroma lamp, diffuser or a container with hot water.
Bath – mix the drops of oil in a base oil /coconut, olive.../, in 1 dl of milk or in a teaspoon of honey, pour this mixture into the bathtub. Essential oils on their own are not soluble in water; the drops would float on the surface.
Massage – add a few drops of essential oil to a cold-pressed vegetable oil (approx. 50 ml) and mix well. Enjoy a pleasant massage.
Sauna – you can choose from conifers, rosemary, eucalyptus, sage, mint or citrus scents. The number of drops depends on the size of the sauna and your taste.

Essential oils are also popularly used in skin care, local compresses, hair masks, oral hygiene care...
