Arnica flower CO₂-to extract is a highly concentrated natural extract obtained by supercritical carbon dioxide extraction from the flowers of Arnica montana. This gentle process takes place without the use of organic solvents and preserves the full spectrum of the plant’s active substances, including sesquiterpene lactones, triterpenoid esters (faradiol, arnidiol esters), a small amount of essential oils, resins and waxes. The product is standardised with organic sunflower oil, which ensures a stable content of active substances and easier incorporation into cosmetic formulations. It has a dark brown colour and at room temperature is liquid to viscous with a characteristic herbal odour.Type of extraction: Supercritical carbon dioxide extraction (CO₂)Standardised content: 4 % sesquiterpene lactonesCarrier: Organic sunflower oil (approx. 70 %)

Yes, but it is recommended to use it at low concentrations (around 1 %) and only in formulations intended for short-term use.
No. The extract is obtained exclusively by supercritical CO₂ extraction and does not contain any added preservatives or solvents.
The abbreviation CO₂-to denotes a so-called total extract – a complete CO₂ extract that contains the full spectrum of substances from the plant, including volatile components, resins, waxes and other bioactive components. This type of extract is denser, more nourishing and has stronger effects than “selective” extracts.
Yes, but only as a component of cosmetic oils or balms – not directly on the skin.
