The solid dye is intended exclusively for candles and scented wax melts. It is a medium composed of stearic acid, soy wax, coconut wax and a mixture of pigments. It can be used in all vegetable waxes that we have on offer.
The dyes are intermixable - they allow you to create your own shades.
Solid dyes do not migrate in waxes – i.e., the colours in your candles will not mix with each other.
Recommended dosage: 5 – 10 % for colouring, 10 – 15 % for dipping
The amount of dye used depends on the desired colour intensity. Rather start with a smaller amount and slowly add more.If you add an excessive amount of dye to the candle, the wick may become clogged. Make sure that you have dispersed the dye thoroughly; this will prevent colour spots in the candles. When colouring candles with dyes, it is suitable to use a stronger wick.
Use appropriate protective equipment when handling.
