The packaging can be reused under normal home and craft use, provided that basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each refilling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the closure and subsequently disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the inner surface has completely dried is the packaging ready for the next safe filling.

How should the bottle be properly cleaned and disinfected before the next filling?

First we recommend thoroughly removing residues of the original product from the bottle by rinsing it with lukewarm water and a suitable cleaning agent. Then it is necessary to rinse the inner surface and the closure with clean water and let them drain. After mechanical cleaning, the step of disinfection is important – you can use for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based to rinse or spray the inside and surface of the packaging. Before refilling, it is necessary to allow the alcohol to evaporate completely so that excess moisture does not get into the new formulation.
