The plastic bottle with a glossy surface and an elegant disc-top closure represents a practical and aesthetically clean packaging for various types of liquid cosmetic preparations. Thanks to the durable plastic material and the design of the closure, the bottle is suitable for safe dispensing of products that require controlled release and comfortable application during everyday use.
The disc-top cap allows convenient one-handed opening and closing and helps to limit unwanted leakage of the contents. The container is designed to be stable during storage as well as transport and to provide long-term, hygienic and visually attractive packaging of liquid formulations.
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – focusing in particular on sealing, the way of dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, content of oils, active substances or preservation system).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
For filling we recommend using a funnel or a filling aid and not exceeding the recommended filling level given in the product parameters. Fill the bottle slowly to minimise foaming and running down the walls of the neck. Before closing, check that the rim is clean and dry, then firmly screw on the disc-top cap and briefly invert the bottle to verify that the system is sealing according to the requirements of your formulation.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are followed and appropriate cleaning is carried out between individual fillings. Before each new filling, both the bottle and the closure must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after complete drying and airing of the disinfectant is the packaging ready for new filling.
For routine cleaning we recommend using lukewarm water with a mild cleaning agent and a soft brush or sponge, in order to avoid scratching the surface. After washing, rinse the bottle and the cap thoroughly with clean water and let them dry naturally in a vertical position. Afterwards, it is advisable to disinfect the packaging using the recommended disinfectant alcohols and, before reuse, allow it to dry and air completely so that no residual odour or moisture remains in the container.
If you decide not to continue using the packaging, we recommend first emptying it completely and removing any remaining product. The method of recycling the packaging must be adapted to the type of material given in the parameter table at the product on the Handymade.sk website and you should follow local waste-sorting rules. In most cases, a clean plastic packaging, after separating the bottle and the closure, is placed in the appropriate container for sorted plastic collection. If you are not sure about the classification, we recommend checking the specific instructions of your collection system or local authority.
