Is it possible to use this glass jar repeatedly?

Yes, the jar can be used repeatedly if the correct hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable preparation, for example with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of plant origin. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and prolongs the shelf life of your products.

For which type of products is this jar most suitable?

The jar is ideal for cosmetic products with a thicker consistency, such as face and body creams, butters, balms, ointments, peelings or masks. Thanks to the dark glass, it is also suitable for products with light-sensitive active ingredients that require better protection against external influences during storage and use.

How can I properly clean the jar before further use?

First mechanically remove the residues of the original product, then wash the jar in warm water with a suitable cleaning agent and rinse thoroughly. After drying, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface – for example using IPA 99 % or 96 % ethanol of plant origin. Allow the disinfectant preparation to evaporate and only then refill the jar.

How should I correctly recycle the glass jar and aluminium lid if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material listed in the product parameters. The glass part of the jar can usually be placed, after cleaning, in the container intended for glass, and the metal lid in the container intended for metals or metal packaging. Before placing it in sorted waste, remove product residues from the packaging in order to facilitate recycling in the collection system.
