Yes, the glass bottle can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the packaging is completely dry is it appropriate to refill the bottles with diffuser base and fragrance composition.
The remaining fragrance blend should first be poured into the designated waste according to local recommendations. We then recommend rinsing the bottle with warm water and a small amount of a suitable cleaning agent that does not leave a film. After mechanical cleaning, it is advisable to rinse the glass with clean water, allow it to dry and finally disinfect it with an alcohol solution (IPA or ethanol). This minimises the risk of transferring fragrance residues or impurities into the next filling.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it according to the material designation given in the product parameters. After rinsing, the glass part should be placed in the container for sorted glass waste, while decorative or metal parts (for example the top or cover) are sorted according to their material or taken to a collection yard if required by the local waste management system. Before handing over for recycling, it is advisable to remove any product residues to prevent contamination of the sorted waste.

The bottle is primarily intended for aroma diffusers and decorative interior fragrances, but it can also be used for other liquid non-cosmetic or decorative products where a representative look and the stability of glass are desirable. Before any non-standard use, we recommend checking the suitability of the material for the specific formulation and carrying out a trial filling to make sure that the viscosity, scent and appearance of the product are stable in this type of bottle.
