Is it possible to use this plastic bottle repeatedly?

The bottle can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed, especially for your own cosmetic production. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the packaging and disinfect it with a suitable agent, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for this purpose. For disinfection we recommend the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. After cleaning, let the bottle and the cap dry completely to avoid dilution or deterioration of the next filled product.

How to properly clean and disinfect the bottle with disc top cap before new filling?

First, rinse the packaging from residues of the original product with warm water and a mild cleaning agent suitable for cosmetic packaging. Then rinse with clean water and let it drain. After mechanical cleaning, use a suitable disinfectant solution, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of plant origin. Allow the disinfectant to act on the inner walls of the bottle and the surfaces of the cap, then let all parts dry freely at room temperature. Only after complete drying is the packaging ready for new filling.

Fill a smaller test amount of the formulation into the bottle and observe the behaviour of the plastic and the cap – focus on sealing, whether there is any product leakage, the functionality of the disc top mechanism, as well as any changes in the colour or odour of the packaging over time. It is also advisable to test at different storage temperatures that may be typical for the distribution of your product.

How to safely dispose of and recycle this plastic packaging if I no longer want to use it?
