Is it possible to use this plastic bottle with spray pump repeatedly?

Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed. However, before each new filling it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect the packaging and the spray pump in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination of the product. For disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. PET material is also not suitable for exposure to high temperatures, therefore do not boil the bottle and do not wash it in a dishwasher.

For which types of products is this packaging with spray pump most suitable?

The bottle with spray pump is ideal for liquid products that require gentle and even application in the form of a spray. How should I care for the PET plastic bottle so that it lasts as long as possible?

For PET packaging it is important to avoid high temperatures that may cause deformation of the material or affect the mechanical stability of the bottle. Cleaning in a dishwasher, drying near intense heat sources and boiling are not recommended. For routine maintenance, lukewarm water with a mild cleaning agent is sufficient, followed by thorough rinsing and disinfection with a suitable alcohol-based product, such as isopropyl alcohol or vegetable ethanol.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle this packaging if I do not want to continue using it?

If you decide not to use the bottle with spray pump any longer, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules and the recycling marking given in the product parameters. The PET bottle body is usually disposed of in a container intended for plastics, and it is advisable to empty and rinse it beforehand. The spray pump and small parts that may not be made of the same type of plastic can be separated from the bottle according to the recommendations given for the specific product. By proper sorting you support efficient processing of used packaging and reduce the amount of mixed waste.

The spray pump is optimized primarily for low-viscosity, aqueous or hydroalcoholic solutions, for which it ensures fine and even dispersion. With more viscous emulsions, gel or purely oil-based blends, spraying performance may deteriorate or the nozzle may become clogged. In such cases, we recommend performing a trial filling and testing the behaviour of the packaging with the specific formulation, or considering another type of dispensing, such as pumps or droppers available in other packaging categories.
