Clear tall plastic bottle, white pump, 100 ml

A clear plastic bottle with a white pump is a ready-to-use set for liquid to medium-viscosity cosmetic products that need to be dispensed one-handed without opening the cap. It is particularly suitable for liquid soaps, shower gels, shampoos, body lotions and lighter creams. The 100 ml size is ideal for travel, handbag use, samples or small-batch home production.

The bottle is made of clear PET, so the colour of the product and the remaining amount are always visible. The material is lightweight, which is an advantage both in the bathroom and when shipping finished products. The tall, slim shape fits comfortably in hand and provides sufficient label area.

How the set dispenses and seals

The pump draws product through a dip tube from the bottom and delivers approximately 1 ml per press. The dose is consistent with each use, making the product economical to dispense, and it is easy to specify how many pumps to use in homemade formulations. The contents also never come into contact with fingers, which is a hygienic advantage over a jar or a bottle with an open neck.

The pump dip tube is supplied longer than the bottle height to allow adjustment. Before fitting, trim it so it reaches just above the bottom, preferably with an angled cut.

Suitable product types

• Liquid soaps and shower gels – the pump handles commonly thickened surfactant formulations and dispenses them even with a wet hand.
• Shampoos and conditioners – travel sizes or trial batches of new formulations.
• Body lotions and lighter creams – liquid to medium-viscosity emulsions that flow down to the dip tube on their own.
• Cleansing gels and hydrophilic oils – one pump delivers the right amount for a single application.

Very thick creams, butters and balms are not suitable for this container. The pump cannot draw them reliably and unused product remains along the bottle walls; a jar is a better choice for such textures. Very thin, watery products will be ejected in a forceful stream — a spray bottle is more practical for those.

Nominal and total volume

Nominal volume is the amount the bottle is designed for under normal filling conditions. Total volume to the brim of the neck is slightly larger. The difference acts as a buffer for the pump mechanism and dip tube, which displace some of the contents when fitted. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim.

Good to know

The set is suitable for contact with cosmetic products; the declaration of conformity is available on the product page. The pump alone holds a certificate for direct food contact; the bottle does not. The set as a whole is therefore intended for cosmetic use only.

Before first filling, wash and sanitise both the bottle and the pump, then allow them to dry thoroughly. It is advisable to pump the disinfectant through the pump mechanism several times and let it drain so that no water remains inside.

PET does not tolerate high temperatures. Do not boil the bottle, and fill it with products only after they have cooled down. For formulations with a higher proportion of essential oils or solvents, we recommend checking the plastic's behaviour on a test sample first.
