The aluminum jar with lid is a practical and lightweight container designed for the safe storage and dispensing of various cream, balm or loose formulations. The compact metal packaging is particularly suitable for cosmetic formulations where protection of the contents from air, light and mechanical damage is important. The smooth inner surface allows for easy filling and emptying of the jar and reduces the risk of product residues getting trapped in the corners.
Thanks to the stable aluminum body and screw cap, this jar provides a reliable closure, helping to maintain the texture, fragrance and quality of the packaged products throughout the entire period of use. It is suitable for packaging products that are more sensitive to external influences and ideal for smaller quantities of cosmetics, travel sizes or samples.
This jar is supplied as a complete container with lid, ready for immediate use without the need for additional closures or dispensing components. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behavior of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the jar can be reused if hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly washing the container, drying it and then disinfecting it with a suitable agent, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% denatured plant ethanol. This minimizes the risk of microbial contamination and undesirable changes in the properties of the packaged product.
The jar is most often used for denser cosmetic products that are applied in smaller amounts – lip balms, body butters, herbal ointments, regenerative salves, solid perfumes or concentrated balms for dry areas. The smooth walls and screw cap facilitate access to the contents and allow convenient removal of the product with fingers or a spatula.
First mechanically remove any residues of the original product, then wash the jar in warm water with a suitable cleaning agent, rinse well and let it dry completely. Before refilling, it is important to disinfect the interior of the packaging and the lid – we recommend applying a thin layer of isopropyl alcohol or plant ethanol, allowing it to act and then to air out. Only then is the jar ready for reuse.
If you decide not to use the jar any longer, we recommend recycling it according to the material type specified in the product parameters. Before placing it in separate collection, remove any remaining contents and empty the jar as much as possible. Then dispose of it in the container designated for metal packaging collection, or according to local waste management rules. By following the instructions in the product parameters and the local sorting rules, you contribute to the efficient recycling of the material.
