Glass bottle – pharma bottle with white spray pump is a professional packaging designed for precise dosing of a fine mist when applying liquid preparations. Thanks to the high-quality glass and integrated spray pump, it is suitable for filling cosmetic blends, toners and other liquid formulations where cleanliness, stability and comfortable application are important. The glass is chemically stable, does not react with the contents and helps to preserve the properties of the filled product over the long term.
This glass bottle – pharma bottle with spray pump is sold as a ready-made combination of the container and the dispensing component. Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) to ensure that the packaging works optimally with your specific product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The spray pump is designed primarily for liquid, low-viscosity preparations such as hydrolats, toners or aqueous solutions. Thick emulsions, gels or heavy oils may reduce the quality of the spraying or clog the mechanism. Before final filling, we recommend carrying out a trial filling with your specific formula and verifying consistent dosing.
Yes, the glass bottle with spray pump can be safely reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the container, including the appropriate parts of the dispensing mechanism, must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% denatured plant ethanol. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination, unwanted odours and chemical interactions between residues of the original product and the new formulation.
First, rinse the packaging mechanically with warm water and a suitable mild detergent to remove residues of the original product. Then thoroughly rinse the glass part with clean water and allow it to dry. After drying, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface as well as the outer surfaces using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. It is advisable to spray the disinfectant solution through the spray pump several times and let it dry at room temperature. In the case of any damage or wear of the dispensing mechanism, it is safer to replace it with a new piece.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle with spray pump, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition specified in the product parameters. The glass body of the bottle generally belongs in the glass container after removal of any product residues. The plastic spray pump (and any additional plastic parts) should be separated and sorted into the appropriate plastic container in accordance with local waste-sorting rules. Before placing the packaging in the recycling collection, empty it as much as possible to minimise the burden on the recycling process from product residues.
The most effective way to select is to use the advanced filter in the packaging category. After clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, pharma bottles or spray pumps), you will find advanced filtering at the top of the page, where you can conveniently select the required parameters – neck type, size, colour and packaging material. By combining these filters, you can quickly narrow down the offer to packaging that matches your formulation, brand design and practical dosing requirements.
We recommend testing compatibility before the packaging is finally used for sale or long-term use. Fill the bottle with a small amount of your formulation and observe the behaviour of the product over several days – changes in colour, fragrance, viscosity or any sedimentation. At the same time, regularly test the functionality of the spray pump, the sealing of the neck and the return of the mechanism after pressing. Carry out the test under conditions as close as possible to the real storage conditions (temperature, light, handling) to obtain relevant data on long-term stability and functionality.
