Eucalyptus Dives is an essential oil with a fresh peppermint scent. It is considered the strongest of the eucalyptus essential oils, mainly due to its strong and penetrating fresh fragrance similar to peppermint or mint leaves. It is used in several types of cosmetics, especially rinse-off ones, such as soaps, hair shampoos, cleansing gels and emulsions or shower gels, but you will also appreciate it in aromatherapy for its soothing and purifying properties.
The Eucalyptus Dives essential oil is characterized by antibacterial and antiseptic effects, it helps in the fight against acne. It reduces redness and has anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. Do not apply undiluted essential oil directly to the skin, always disperse the essential oil in a carrier oil. The maximum recommended dosage for individual types of products can be found, for example, in the IFRA standards, the dosage is usually up to 1 %.
Use essential oils for inhalation or in your cosmetic products; we do not recommend the consumption of any essential oils of any brands.
Essential oils, also called ethereal oils, are natural aromatic substances that come from various parts of plants – trunks, roots, seeds, flowers, leaves, etc. They give plants their characteristic scent and in addition they also have protective effects. Their chemical composition is fairly complex. Essential oils are obtained from plants most often by distillation, extraction or pressing. Essential oils are highly concentrated and are used directly on the skin only after dilution with carrier vegetable oils (almond, apricot kernel, jojoba, etc.). The only exception is tea tree and lavender essential oil, which you can apply directly.
When handling the oils, use appropriate protective equipment.
Essential oils are fat-soluble, therefore if you want to use them in products without oils and butters, use a solvent / solubilizer.
