The essential oil Cananga comes from Indonesia from the plant Cananga odorata var macrophylla. It is the identical plant species from which Ylang Ylang oil is distilled, and they have a very similar scent, but it is a different variety (Cananga odorata var macrophylla). The difference is that Cananga comes from Indonesia and Ylang Ylang from Madagascar. The local climate and cultivation conditions have a significant impact on the final fragrance. Its scent is sweet with subtle woody undertones, less floral than Ylang-Ylang and is often used as its more affordable alternative.Despite the fact that they come from the same plant species, both oils have different chemical compositions and different therapeutic effects. Cananga is used to address problems with oily skin and hair, after insect bites or for releasing tension and stress.Recommended dermal maximum: 0.8 %All supplied raw materials are of cosmetic grade, unsuitable for internal use. When handling, use appropriate protective equipment.

WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS?
Essential oils, also called ethereal oils, are natural aromatic substances that come from various parts of plants – trunks, roots, seeds, flowers, leaves, etc. They give plants their characteristic scent and, in addition, they also have healing and protective effects. They have a very positive effect on symptoms at the physical, emotional and mental levels.
Their chemical composition is relatively complex. The essences are obtained from plants most often by distillation, extraction or pressing. Essential oils are highly concentrated and are used directly on the skin only after dilution with carrier vegetable oils (almond, apricot kernel, jojoba, etc.). The only exception is the essential oil from tea tree and lavender, which you can apply directly.
Use essential oils for inhalation or in your cosmetic products; we do not recommend the ingestion of any essential oils of any brands.
Essential oils are fat-soluble, therefore if you wish to use them in products without oils and butters, use a solvent /solubilizer/.
HOW WILL I USE THE ESSENTIAL OIL?
Making cosmetics and soaps – the required amount of essential oil depends on the specific recipe and the quantity produced. Inhalation, steam inhalation – drip a few drops of essential oil into an aroma lamp, diffuser or into a container with hot water.Bath – mix the drops of oil in a base oil /coconut, olive.../, in 1 dcl of milk or in a teaspoon of honey, pour this mixture into the bathtub. Essential oils on their own are insoluble in water, the drops would float on the surface.Massage – add a few drops of essential oil to cold-pressed vegetable oil (approx. 50 ml) and mix well. Enjoy a pleasant massage.Sauna – you can choose from conifers, rosemary, eucalyptus, sage, mint or citrus scents. The number of drops depends on the size of the sauna and your taste.
Essential oils are also popularly used in skin care, local compresses, hair masks, in oral hygiene care...
