Product description

Narrow-leaved lavender essential oil, also called medical/true lavender, is one of the most versatile and at the same time most widely used essential oils, suitable for adults and children. It has a sweet, spicy, gently floral lavender scent. It is obtained from the flowers of the plant Lavandula angustifolia L.

Our lavender essential oil in ORGANIC quality comes from Bulgaria and has a wonderful herbal fragrance.

Lavender essential oil helps with mental fatigue, it has a calming effect on the entire organism. It relieves muscle pain and cramps, lowers blood pressure and also has a positive effect in cases of migraine. It is also used for menstrual disorders, insomnia, as a disinfectant, for insect bites, etc. It is also very effective in fighting yeast infections – candidiasis – caused by the yeast Candida albicans.

Allergens: EUGENOL, COUMARINE, GERANIOL, LINALOOL, LIMONENE

All supplied raw materials are of cosmetic grade, not suitable for internal use. When handling, use appropriate protective equipment.

WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS?

Essential oils, also called ethereal oils, are natural aromatic substances that come from different parts of plants – trunks, roots, seeds, flowers, leaves, etc. They give plants their characteristic fragrance and, in addition, they also have therapeutic and protective effects. They have a very positive effect on symptoms at the physical, emotional and mental level.

Their chemical composition is rather complex. Essential oils are obtained from plants most often by distillation, extraction or pressing. Essential oils are highly concentrated and are applied directly to the skin only after dilution with carrier vegetable oils (almond, apricot, jojoba, etc.). The only exceptions are tea tree and lavender essential oils, which you can apply directly.

Use essential oils for inhalation or in your cosmetic products; we do not recommend the consumption of any essential oils of any brands.

Essential oils are fat-soluble, therefore if you want to use them in products that do not contain oils and butters, use a solvent /solubiliser/.

HOW DO I USE ESSENTIAL OIL?

Cosmetics and soap making – the required amount of essential oil depends on the specific formula and the quantity produced.
Inhalation, steaming – drip a few drops of essential oil into an aroma lamp, diffuser or a container with hot water.
Bath – mix the drops of oil in a base oil /coconut, olive.../, in 1 dl of milk or in a teaspoon of honey, and pour this mixture into the bathtub. Essential oils on their own are not soluble in water, the drops would float on the surface.
Massage – add a few drops of essential oil to a cold-pressed vegetable oil (approx. 50 ml) and mix well. Enjoy a pleasant massage.
Sauna – you can choose from conifer oils, rosemary, eucalyptus, sage, mint or citrus fragrances. The number of drops depends on the size of the sauna and your taste.

Essential oils are also popular for use in skin care, local compresses, hair masks, in oral hygiene care...
