Rosemary is an aromatic herb known from the kitchen. Its origin is in the Mediterranean, where it also received the name dew of the sea. The essential oil is produced by steam distillation from the plant Rosmarinus Officinalis Camphoriferum.
During the production of rosemary essential oil, three types of essential oils can arise depending on climatic conditions or origin, according to which chemotype predominates in it. We therefore distinguish the chemotype ct camphor, ct verbenone, ct cineole.
* Ct cineole is the classic chemotype with excellent effectiveness especially for clearing the respiratory tract.
* The chemotype ct camphor has a fresh, strong, herbal scent that has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and also analgesic effects. It stimulates the central nervous system and helps to calm the body and mind.
* Ct verbenone is characterized by a milder, floral rosemary scent.
In aromatherapy it helps to reduce the level of stress, fatigue and nervous tension, increases mental activity, supports respiratory functions. The scent of rosemary stimulates the appetite. It boosts the immune system by stimulating antioxidant activity (it relieves congestion in the throat and nose by clearing the respiratory tract). In cosmetics it is used for its antiseptic, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Diluted oil is used topically, it stimulates hair growth and also conditions the hair. It prevents hair loss and moisturizes the dry scalp to relieve dandruff.
Detoxifying properties, used in massage, can support healthy digestion, relieve flatulence, bloating and cramps and ease constipation. In cosmetic skin care formulations it soothes and treats dry skin, reduces inflammation, eczema and acne.It can be added to soaps, face masks, toners and creams.
All supplied raw materials are of cosmetic grade, not suitable for internal use. Use appropriate protective equipment when handling.

WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS?
Essential oils, also called ethereal oils, are natural aromatic substances that come from various parts of plants – stems, roots, seeds, flowers, leaves, etc. They give plants their characteristic scent and in addition they also have healing and protective effects. They have a very positive effect on symptoms on the physical, emotional or mental level.
Their chemical composition is fairly complex. Essential oils are obtained from plants most often by distillation, extraction or pressing. Essential oils are highly concentrated and are applied directly to the skin only after dilution with carrier vegetable oils (almond, apricot kernel, jojoba, etc.). The only exceptions are tea tree and lavender essential oil, which you can apply directly.
Use essential oils for inhalation or in your cosmetic products; the ingestion of any essential oils of any brands is not recommended.
Essential oils are fat-soluble, therefore if you want to use them in products without oils and butters, use a solvent /solubilizer/.
HOW DO I USE AN ESSENTIAL OIL?
Production of cosmetics and soaps – the required amount of essential oil depends on the specific recipe and the quantity produced. Inhalation, steaming – drip a few drops of essential oil into an aroma lamp, diffuser, or a container with hot water.Bath – mix drops of the oil in a base oil /coconut, olive.../, in 1 dl of milk or in a teaspoon of honey, pour this mixture into the bathtub. Essential oils themselves are insoluble in water, the drops would float on the surface.Massage – add a few drops of essential oil to cold-pressed vegetable oil (approx. 50 ml) and mix well. A pleasant massage.Sauna – you can choose from conifers, rosemary, eucalyptus, sage, mint or citrus scents. The number of drops depends on the size of the sauna and your preference.
Essential oils are also commonly used in skin care, local compresses, hair masks, in oral hygiene care...
