Product description

Rosemary is an aromatic herb known from the kitchen. Its origin is in the Mediterranean, where it also received the name dew of the sea. The essential oil is produced by steam distillation from the plant Rosmarinus Officinalis Camphoriferum.

In the production of rosemary essential oil, three types of essential oils can arise depending on climatic conditions or origin, depending on which chemotype predominates in it. We therefore know the chemotype ct camphor, ct verbenone, ct cineole.

* Ct cineole is the classic chemotype with excellent efficacy especially in clearing the respiratory tract.

* The chemotype ct camphor has a fresh, strong, herbal scent that acts antimicrobially, anti‑inflammatory and also against pain. It stimulates the central nervous system and helps to calm the body and mind.

* Ct verbenone is characterized by a gentler, floral rosemary scent.

In aromatherapy it helps to reduce stress levels, fatigue and nervous tension, increases mental activity, supports respiratory functions. The scent of rosemary stimulates the appetite. It increases the immune system by stimulating antioxidant activity (it releases blood circulation in the throat and nose by clearing the respiratory tract).

In cosmetics it is used for its antiseptic, antimicrobial, anti‑inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Diluted oil is used topically, it stimulates hair growth, which it also conditions. It prevents hair loss and moisturizes dry scalp to relieve dandruff.

Detoxifying properties, used in massage, can support healthy digestion, relieve gas, bloating and cramps, and alleviate constipation. In cosmetic skin care products it soothes and treats dry skin, reduces inflammation, eczema and acne.

It can be added to soaps, face masks, toners and creams.

Use essential oils for inhalation or in your cosmetic products, we do not recommend the consumption of any essential oils of any brands.

Essential oils, also called ethereal oils, are natural aromatic substances that come from various parts of plants – stems, roots, seeds, flowers, leaves, etc. They give plants their characteristic scent and, in addition, have protective effects. Their chemical composition is fairly complex. Essential oils are obtained from plants most often by distillation, extraction or pressing. Essential oils are highly concentrated and are applied directly to the skin only after dilution with carrier vegetable oils (almond, apricot, jojoba, etc.). The only exception is essential oil from tea tree and lavender, which you can apply directly.

When handling the oils, use appropriate protective equipment.

Essential oils are fat‑soluble, therefore if you want to use them in products without oils and butters, use a solvent / solubilizer.
