Lavender floral water is a hydrolate produced by steam distillation. It has soothing and antibacterial effects. It is ideal for cleansing skin pores and for skin with mild acne. It helps to cleanse the skin deeply without clogging the pores. It is suitable for all age categories, and is ideal for use in night facial preparations. Lavender floral water provides relief also in the case of minor skin injuries and burns, including sunburn. It can also be used for insect bites – it helps to soothe the skin and its antibacterial properties destroy bacteria in the wound. It combines excellently with the hydrolates Chamomile, Geranium, Tea Tree, Ylang Ylang, Peppermint.

Floral or flower water is an aromatic water that arises as a by-product in the production of essential oils. It is a very high-quality, pure natural product. Since it is formed during the distillation of essential oils, it contains all valuable plant essences, but in a much milder form. It usually contains less than 1 % essential oil, therefore it can be used directly on the skin. It is also suitable for pregnant women and newborns (depending on the specific herb). Floral waters support the natural pH of the skin, they soothe and refresh the skin, and have healing effects on inflamed and damaged skin.

They can be used on their own or in combination with other ingredients as a facial and body tonic, in the production of creams, body milks and clay masks. Feel free to reach for it when you need a make-up remover, cleansing water, mouthwash or a soothing compress for tired eyes, a base for aromatic body sprays and perfumes, an additive to shampoos, shower gels, effervescent bath bombs for perfuming spaces. Certain scents have an antiseptic effect.
