Have you already tried whipped body butter? That feeling when a cream with the consistency of whipped cream gently melts on your skin and perfectly hydrates it? Ivet from Sweet&Fresh has prepared a whipped butter recipe for you that you definitely have to try!
The body butter moisturises, nourishes and treats dry skin. It contains purely natural ingredients and as it does not contain water, no preservatives are necessary.
The production is very simple and the result is amazing!
We need the following to make it:
30g mango butter
15g virgin coconut oil
15g hemp oil
0,3g vitamin E
10 drops geranium essential oil (or choose any of your favourite scents)
Do you want to make the butter at home? Buy everything you will need with one click – a complete kit for making the butter.
From the stated amount of raw materials you will prepare a portion the size you can see in the picture. The volume of the glass jar used is 130 ml.
Procedure:
1. Disinfect all tools and containers you will be using – with 99% (or at least 80%) alcohol or boil them in water
2. Weigh out the oils and the butter, melt them in the microwave or in a water bath
3. Put the mixed oils into the fridge to set – test the consistency with your finger; if the oils are already too solid, whipping will be very difficult, on the other hand, if your finger sinks into runny oils, they are not sufficiently set yet and the butter will not whip properly
4. Whip the mixture of oils and butter with a mixer for about 5–10 minutes; the texture must be fluffy and firm – the volume will double.
5. Add vitamin E and the essential oil and whip again.
6. Fill the finished butter into a jar and you are done!
Mango butter is full of natural antioxidants and vitamins which revitalise and soften the skin. It absorbs easily into the skin and does not leave it greasy. It also helps in the fight against dry skin, helps to treat rashes, eczema and dermatitis.
Coconut oil has a high content of lauric acid, has antibacterial effects, is suitable for drier or sensitive skin and also for problems with cracked skin or eczema.
Hemp oil is rich in omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids and is a source of vitamin E. It helps prevent moisture loss and is also effective in the fight against wrinkles.
Whipped butter starts to melt at a temperature above 24℃, at that time it is necessary to store it in the fridge.
For better absorption, apply the butter to damp skin.
