Hamamelis floral water /witch hazel/ Witch Hazel has strong antioxidant effects. It tightens the pores, thereby helping to treat acne. It effectively combats eczema or psoriasis. It soothes various skin swellings, inflammations and mycoses. It is very popular especially in aftershave products and creams for cracked and sunburnt damaged skin. It can even be used to treat varicose veins, bruises or cellulite. This hydrolate does not contain any alcohol.

Floral or flower water is an aromatic water that arises as a by-product in the production of essential oils. It is a very high-quality, pure natural product. Since it is created during the distillation of essential oils, it contains all the valuable plant essences, but in a much milder form. It usually contains less than 1% essential oil, and can therefore be used directly on the skin. It is also suitable for pregnant women and newborns (depending on the specific herb). Floral waters support the natural pH of the skin, they soothe and refresh the skin and have healing effects on inflamed and damaged skin.

They can be used on their own or in combination with other ingredients as a facial and body toner, in the manufacture of creams, body milks and clay masks. Feel free to reach for it whenever you need a make-up remover, cleansing water, mouthwash or a soothing compress for tired eyes, a base for aromatic body sprays and perfumes, an additive to shampoos, shower gels, fizzy bath bombs to fragrance rooms. Certain scents have an antiseptic effect.
