Food-grade citric acid (also known as E330) is an essential ingredient in the production of fizzy bath bombs (bath bombs) and also an irreplaceable helper for household cleaning. You will also appreciate it when making shampoos, creams, liquid soaps, shower gels, cleaning and laundry products and nail polishes.

It is added to cosmetic products in order to balance and maintain the pH, to extend the shelf life of products, but it also cleans, whitens and tightens the skin.
Citric acid occurs naturally in plants such as citrus fruits, raspberries, blackberries. It is very well soluble in water and also in alcohol.

It is a white fine crystalline powder.

Citric acid occurs as a monohydrate or as anhydrous citric acid. Monohydrate of citric acid contains 1 molecule of water and crystallizes in the cold, whereas anhydrous citric acid crystallizes in the heat. The crystals of anhydrous citric acid are smaller and finer.
