Calendula CO₂-to extract is a highly concentrated plant extract obtained from the dried flowers of Calendula officinalis using supercritical carbon dioxide extraction. This process is carried out without the use of chemical solvents and preserves the full spectrum of the plant's biologically active compounds, which are known for their anti-inflammatory and regenerative effects. It is a CO₂-to (total extract) - a complete extract containing all lipophilic components, including triterpenoids, waxes, sterols and carotenoids. The product has a dark reddish-brown colour, a waxy consistency and a typical slightly sweetish hay smell.
