Calendula is macerated in sunflower oil in a ratio of 1:4.
Calendula has been known for its effects since the 16th century. It has been proven that this plant can heal minor wounds and burns. It has antibacterial and antiseptic effects. It is also often used in homeopathy. Calendula macerate helps stimulate collagen in the skin. It improves blood circulation, thereby helping the treatment of injuries. It also provides a mild form of protection against UV radiation. It nourishes the skin, regenerates it and softens its outer layer.
Calendula macerate can be used as a component of soaps, creams, shampoos, conditioners, lip balms and many other cosmetic products.
Combine calendula macerate and a powdered mineral blend and you can create your own liquid mineral makeup. You can find out how to do this in our tutorial on the blog.
