Product description

The soap base ZENISOAPBASE is used for the production of soaps and soap bouquets. It has a plant-based base and the resulting soap has excellent foaming properties and, thanks to the high content of glycerin, it also moisturizes the skin very well. It remains liquid for a relatively long time, so it can be used even for more complex projects. During longer standing there is no loss of volume of the soap castings (important especially when creating bouquets). The soap base is free of animal fats and oils – 100% vegan.

This soap base is, thanks to its higher viscosity, suitable for the production of soaps containing solid parts, because they are evenly distributed in the soap (for example herbs). At the same time, thanks to its consistency, it is ideal for drawing patterns into the soap. If you pour two bases with different colours into a container, they do not mix and you can easily create a pattern in them.

When colouring the base with ZENICOLOR dyes, we recommend mixing 70% of the transparent base CLEAR and 30% of the white base WHITE in order to avoid excessive consumption of dyes.

Melting temperature: 65 °C
Do not exceed a temperature of 75 °C when heating!

Working with the soap base is not difficult at all. It is enough to cut the required amount of soap base into smaller pieces, which will speed up the melting phase of the base. Slowly heat the base in a water bath or in a microwave oven. Be careful, the base must not boil, so heat it slowly. You can add a few drops of an essential or fragrance oil, liquid or powder colourant and, for variety, dried herbs to the melted base.

Stir slowly so that unnecessary air bubbles are not formed, which would create holes after solidification. Pour the soap base into the prepared mould. Immediately after pouring, we recommend applying a few sprays of a bubble remover – it is 99% isopropanol – with a spray bottle. The final step is to let it solidify. After unmoulding you can use the soap immediately, but we recommend letting the base rest for approx. 2 weeks for better properties.

More detailed information about the product quality can be found in the certificate, which we update with each new batch.
