Product description

Essential oil from the fruits of the orange tree. It is used in the care of irritated skin, which it helps to soothe. You will appreciate this essential oil, for example, as a component of shower gels or scrubs, or of bath salts and fizzing bath bombs.

Other effects of Bitter Orange essential oil include its ability to provide relaxation, alleviate tension and sadness. It helps in stressful situations or in cases of insomnia. Try adding this essential oil to a diffuser or aroma lamps. Alternatively, apply 1–2 drops of essential oil to a piece of cotton wool and place it in the pillow to release aromatic substances during sleep.

If you suffer from headaches or migraines, try a cold compress on the forehead with a few drops of essential oil. If you have acne-prone and problematic skin, you can prepare a rinse-off facial toner or a cleansing gel with this essential oil.

ABOUT ESSENTIAL OILS

Use essential oils for inhalation or in your cosmetic products; we do not recommend consuming any essential oils of any brands.

Essential oils, also called ethereal oils, are natural aromatic substances that come from various parts of plants – stems, roots, seeds, flowers, leaves, etc. They give plants their characteristic scent and, in addition, also have protective effects. Their chemical composition is relatively complex. Essential oils are obtained from plants most often by distillation, extraction or pressing. Essential oils are highly concentrated and are used directly on the skin only after dilution with carrier vegetable oils (almond, apricot, jojoba, etc.). The only exceptions are tea tree essential oil and lavender essential oil, which you can apply directly.

Use appropriate protective equipment when handling the oils.

Essential oils are fat-soluble, so if you want to use them in products that do not contain oils and butters, use a solvent / solubilizer.

Do you know what the shelf life of essential oils is, how to store them correctly, or which essential oils to combine? You can read everything about essential oils on our blog.
