The plastic bottle with flip-top cap represents a practical and hygienic packaging for cosmetic and hygiene products, which facilitates dosing as well as everyday use. The transparent material allows visual control of the contents and their quantity, giving you an overview of consumption and the aesthetic appearance of the final product. Thanks to the flip-top closure, the bottle is suitable for filling liquids and lightly viscous preparations that need to be applied comfortably and quickly.
The transparent plastic bottle with practical cap type of packaging is popular in the production of body, facial and hair cosmetics, in hygiene preparations and auxiliary solutions for home and professional workshops. The closure minimizes the risk of accidental spillage and at the same time enables controlled squeezing or pouring of the contents without the need for unscrewing, which increases user comfort and cleanliness when working with the product.
Individual bottles of this type are designed on Handymade so that they are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected product parameters. Within the range you will find, for example, screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators, which make it possible to adapt the final packaging to the specific type of formulation and mode of use.
The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – especially in terms of sealing, dosing accuracy and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content or active substances).

The bottle can be used repeatedly, provided that basic hygiene rules are observed and it is intended for the same or a similar type of product. Before each new filling we recommend thoroughly cleaning the packaging and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99 %) or with plant-based ethanol 96 %. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and ensures the long-term stability of your formulation.
Plastic packaging made of PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, because excessive heating carries the risk of deformation and deterioration of the closing function. For this reason the packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. We recommend washing with lukewarm water and a mild detergent, rinsing thoroughly and then disinfecting with alcohol intended for this purpose. Such a procedure helps to preserve the shape of the bottle and extend its usability.
The suitability of using the bottle for products containing alcohol, essential oils or various active substances always depends on the specific formulation and the concentration of the individual components. Before introducing it into regular operation we recommend performing a compatibility test – filling a smaller amount of product, monitoring the behaviour of the packaging material, the sealing of the cap and any changes in appearance or odour over a period of several days to weeks. In this way you will verify whether the packaging is long-term stable for the given formulation.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material stated in the product parameters. Usually it is necessary to empty the packaging, remove any product residues, possibly separate the cap or inserted components made of a different material, and then dispose of it in the appropriate separate collection container for plastics. Compliance with local recycling rules contributes to a more considerate handling of packaging materials and reduces the amount of waste.
