The packaging is made of HDPE material, which is strong, stable and suitable for normal use with washing and cleaning formulations. The shape with handle makes it easy to hold and easy to handle for pouring and regular use.
The packaging and cap combinations, which are created directly at Handymade, are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend to perform your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behaviour in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the packaging is practical for common liquid detergents used in the home. For thicker mixtures, we recommend testing the pouring and dispensing behaviour of the container with a specific cap.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each refill, the container should be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, for example with IPA 99% (ALK001) or ethanol 96% (ALK002), and then allowed to dry completely.
If you choose not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it. Empty the packaging completely, remove any product residue and rinse it if possible. Then sort it among the plastics according to the material specified in the product parameters (for HDPE it is sorted as plastic by default). If possible, sort the cap separately according to local rules.
The most reliable way is to carry out your own compatibility test with the specific formulation. Observe the seal, dispensing functionality, and any changes in product properties or material behavior during actual use.

After emptying, we recommend rinsing the lid, washing it thoroughly and allowing it to dry completely. Pay particular attention to the inside of the pourer where product residue may be trapped.
