Before attaching, check that the bottle neck is clean, dry and free of product residues. Place the dispenser perpendicular to the neck and screw it on evenly until you feel slight resistance – there is no need to overtighten it by force, in order not to damage the seal. After closing, we recommend briefly turning the bottle upside down and checking whether any product leakage appears at the thread area. If you use thicker emulsions or gels, carry out a test dispensing and, if necessary, adjust the type of packaging or the consistency of the formulation.

The dispenser can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed, especially in home cosmetic production. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the dispenser and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely before screwing the dispenser back onto the bottle and refilling the product.

With thicker or highly pigmented formulations, the passage in the dispensing head may narrow over time. We recommend regularly disassembling the dispenser into its accessible parts after emptying the bottle and rinsing it with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent. Then rinse it with clean water, allow it to dry thoroughly and disinfect it before the next use. Avoid exposing the dispenser to high temperatures so as not to impair the function of the spring and plastic parts.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend as a first step to empty it as much as possible of product residues. It is advisable to separate the bottle and the dispenser so that the individual parts can be assigned to the correct separate collection according to the material specified in the product parameters. Plastic components usually belong in the container intended for plastics, while metal or combined elements should be handed over according to local waste-sorting rules. When recycling, follow the recommendations of your municipality or city so that the individual parts of the packaging are processed as efficiently as possible.
