Pomegranate CO₂-to extract BIO is a nutritious vegetable oil extracted from the seeds of Punica granatum using supercritical carbon dioxide extraction. This process takes place without the use of solvents and ensures that the full spectrum of bioactive compounds are preserved in their natural form. The extract is stabilized with a small amount of rosemary BIO antioxidant to protect against oxidation. It is a CO₂-to (total extract) - a complete extract that contains all lipid components including polyunsaturated fatty acids, sterols, tocopherols and squalene. The product is yellow in colour, oily in consistency and slightly viscous at room temperature. The main active ingredient is punicic acid (more than 60%), a conjugated form of linolenic acid with exceptional regenerative and antioxidant effects. The extract also contains tocopherols, sterols and squalene, which promote skin health and elasticity.
It is suitable for dry, mature and sensitive skin. It helps repair damaged skin, promotes cell regeneration and improves skin elasticity.
CO₂-to stands for total extract - a complete CO₂ extract that contains a full spectrum of lipids, waxes, antioxidants and other biologically active substances. This type of extract is more nutritious and stable than "selective" (CO₂-se) extracts, which contain only volatile components.
Pomegranate extract helps regenerate epidermis cells, promotes collagen production and improves skin firmness. Thanks to its antioxidant action, it slows down aging and protects the skin from UV damage.
