The plastic bottle with a smooth closure represents a practical and lightweight packaging suitable for filling liquid and slightly viscous preparations. The clear material allows for easy visual control of the contents, which facilitates dosing, checking the consistency and monitoring the product’s consumption. The packaging is designed to fit comfortably in the hand, seal reliably and be suitable for small cosmetic batches, artisan production and test samples.
Thanks to its transparent design, this plastic bottle is ideal wherever the presentation of the product’s colour and purity is important. The smooth white cap looks aesthetic and clean, so the bottle combines well with various labels and visual brand styles. The packaging is intended exclusively for repeated filling, provided that correct hygienic procedures are followed and suitable compatibility with the filled contents is ensured.
This bottle is supplied with a smooth cap and is also part of a packaging system that is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the relevant category. The packaging–closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
When filling, it is advisable to check whether the selected viscosity, pH and solvent content (for example alcoholic components or essential oils) affect the elasticity and sealing of the cap or the long-term stability of the plastic. This will reduce the risk of seepage, excessive softening or, conversely, embrittlement of the material during long-term storage.
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
When working with plastic packaging made of PET material, it is necessary to take into account the specifics of this material. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures – with excessive heating there is a risk of undesirable deformation of the bottle. For these reasons, the packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. For cleaning and disinfection it is appropriate to use controlled procedures at room temperature to slightly elevated temperature, without long-term contact with hot steam.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly with appropriate handling and monitoring of the material condition. However, with every refilling it is necessary to follow strict hygiene rules – before use, clean the bottle and cap, remove any residues of the previous product and then disinfect. For disinfection, we recommend using a suitable alcoholic agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for this purpose, which you can find in the category of disinfectant auxiliary raw materials. The packaging is not intended for boiling or washing in a dishwasher, because elevated temperature may lead to deformation of the PET material.
Before each new filling, we recommend first mechanically cleaning the packaging, i.e. rinsing it with a suitable cleaning solution compatible with the product used and the PET material, followed by rinsing with clean water. After drying, it is advisable to treat the inside and outer surface of the bottle and cap with an alcohol-based disinfectant – for example isopropyl alcohol or denatured plant-based ethanol at a suitable concentration. After sufficient evaporation of the alcohol, filling can begin. During cleaning, you should avoid high temperatures, steam cleaning and aggressive chemicals that could damage the plastic or affect its clarity and mechanical stability.
Store the bottle ideally in a dry place, at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Long-term exposure to high temperatures or intense UV radiation may affect the mechanical properties of the PET material as well as the stability of the filled product. The packaging is not suitable for contact with very hot liquids, concentrated solvents or strongly aggressive chemicals that are not intended for common plastic packaging. For formulations with a higher proportion of alcohol or essential oils, we recommend always performing a compatibility test – fill a smaller sample, let it stand for several days and check whether there are any changes on the surface of the bottle or weakening of the cap’s sealing.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is advisable to recycle it according to the recommendations resulting from the material marking stated in the product parameters. For PET plastic packaging, sorting into the collection designated for plastics is usually recommended. Before placing it into sorted waste, it is advisable to empty the bottle, possibly rinse it, and separate the cap if it is made of a different type of plastic. Recycling rules may differ slightly in individual municipalities, so it is always advisable to follow the local guidelines for waste sorting as well. In this way, you minimise environmental impact and ensure that the material from the packaging can be processed again.
To make it easier to select a suitable bottle, jar or other packaging, you can use the advanced filter in the relevant category. After clicking on the packaging category, the advanced filter is located at the top of the page and allows you to sort the assortment by several parameters – for example by neck type and diameter, packaging size, material colour or the plastic or glass used. In this way you can quickly narrow down the selection only to packaging that meets your technological requirements and design preferences, and then just fine-tune details such as the type of closure or dosing system.
