Rounded Clear Plastic Bottle, 24/410, Black Mat Plastic Cap, 100 ml

The clear plastic bottle, 100 ml, with a matte black cap is designed for liquid cosmetic products that are dispensed by pouring: facial toners, hydrosols, cleansing and massage oils, liquid soaps, or smaller packs of shampoo and shower gel. Clear PET shows the contents and their level, so the colour of a toner or an oil blend becomes part of the product’s appearance. The bottle is light and does not break when dropped, which suits travel and bathroom packs.

The polypropylene cap in matte black forms a contrasting set with the clear bottle. Both parts have a 24/410 neck finish, so they fit together without any adapters. The set is declared suitable for contact with cosmetics. It is not intended for food.

What it is suitable for

• Toners, facial waters and hydrosols – water-based products that are applied to a cotton pad or into the palm of the hand; the clear wall shows the purity and colour of the contents.
• Massage, body and cleansing oils – oil blends pour well from the narrow neck, even in small amounts.
• Liquid soap, shampoo, shower gel – 100 ml is a suitable size for samples, travel packs or testing new formulations before larger production.
• Measured portions of raw materials – water phase, glycerine or solutions of active ingredients prepared for a single production batch, which need to be seen and told apart quickly.

Filling and volume

Nominal volume is the volume the bottle is designed for in normal filling, and it is filled up to this level. Total brimful volume, stated in the parameters, is the physical volume up to the neck. The difference between them is a reserve for the cap, or a pump or sprayer, and for the expansion of the contents with temperature changes. A bottle filled to the brim overflows when closed, and the contents are pushed into the thread when warmed.

Cap and other closures

The supplied cap screws onto the 24/410 neck finish. If you need a different way of dispensing, closures with the same neck type and ready-made bottle-plus-closure combinations are available in the Handymade range. For your own combination, we recommend checking the seal and the dispensing with your specific formulation.

Good to know

Before the first filling, wash the bottle and the cap, disinfect them with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and leave them to dry completely. Residual water in the thread dilutes the contents and is a risk for products with limited preservation.

Clear plastic does not protect the contents from light. Products with light-sensitive ingredients are therefore better suited to short-term use in this bottle, or to a cabinet away from daylight. For formulations with a higher proportion of essential oils or solvents, we recommend checking in advance how the bottle behaves and whether the cap seals with the finished product.

The PET bottle and the PP cap are two different plastics, both recyclable. Separate them before disposal so that they can be sorted individually.
