The PET plastic bottle is a lightweight, practical and durable packaging suitable for various liquid and gel products. Thanks to the transparent body, you have an immediate visual overview of the contents, which makes it easier to check the volume and to fine‑tune the aesthetics of the final product. The black ribbed cap ensures reliable closure and convenient handling during everyday use in both home and professional production.
The bottle is designed to withstand normal handling, transport and storage without excessive wear. It is suitable for filling various cosmetic formulations and cleaning solutions where packaging stability, low weight and resistance to breakage are important. Thanks to its universal shape, it combines very well with different labels and brand design concepts.
Plastic bottles of this type are compatible with various types of caps and dosing systems, such as screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators – according to the parameters selected in the product details. The packaging and cap combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially with active or atypical ingredients.
When choosing a suitable cap or dispenser, we recommend considering the viscosity of the product, the desired application method and the frequency of use, so that you achieve comfortable and hygienic dosing without unnecessary waste of the contents.

Since this is packaging made of PET plastic, it is necessary to take material specifics into account: PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, at which there is a risk of deformation of the packaging. For this reason, it is not suitable for dishwashing in a dishwasher or for boiling. Gentle manual cleaning at lower temperatures and the use of suitable disinfectants according to the intended use of the packaging are recommended.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed, as long as it is not visibly damaged or deformed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcoholic solution, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for technical and cosmetic use. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol and etanol 96 % denaturovany, available on the Handymade.sk website: IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol 1 l and Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný 1 l. With repeated use, always check the condition of the bottle and the cap and make sure that they seal properly and are suitable for your formulation.
When cleaning the PET bottle, use lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent to avoid damaging or clouding the plastic. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, so do not boil the packaging and do not wash it in a dishwasher, where deformation of the shape or weakening of the walls could occur. After washing, let the bottle dry naturally and disinfect it with a suitable alcoholic solution before refilling. Avoid contact with concentrated solvents that could attack the material – we always recommend performing a small compatibility test with the specific formulation.
If you decide not to use the bottle any longer, we recommend, after emptying and basic rinsing, placing it in sorted waste according to the type of material specified in the product parameters on the Handymade.sk website. Plastic packaging made of PET is normally placed in the container designated for plastics, which enables its subsequent recycling. Before placing it in sorted waste, remove as much product residue and as many labels as possible, if this is possible without using aggressive solvents. If the packaging has been used for chemically more demanding or non‑standard formulations, follow the local rules for handling such waste and the recommendations stated for the specific product.
The PET bottle is suitable for a wide range of common cosmetic and cleaning solutions such as toners, waters, emulsion systems with lower viscosity or mild cleansing products. However, for formulations with a higher proportion of volatile solvents, essential oils or other more aggressive components, it is essential to carry out your own compatibility test. We recommend filling a smaller amount of product, observing the behaviour of the packaging (softening, colour change, deformation) and verifying whether the cap seals reliably during longer‑term storage. For specific or highly concentrated formulations, consider consulting on the material suitability of the packaging.
