Product description

Shea butter with borututu root is unrefined, produced by adding borututu root during the shea butter processing.

Shea butter, also known as Shea butter, is produced by a traditional method from the seeds of the African shea tree. The nuts are mechanically crushed and roasted, then mixed and pressed. The shea tree seeds come from wild collection and the butter does not undergo refining.

The healing borututu root (Cochlospermum angolensis root) has been used in West Africa for many years not only for dyeing, but especially to enrich shea butter with its healing effects in the fight against inflammation and infection. It has antibacterial properties and helps to heal skin problems and burns. It also effectively fights age spots.

This intensely yellow butter with a nutty scent is suitable for pregnant women and sensitive children’s skin. Not suitable for people with nut allergy.

Shea butter contains many valuable substances, vitamins A, E, F and minerals. It is the most popular ingredient in natural cosmetics. It prevents signs of ageing and regenerates damaged skin.

Shea butter enriched with burututu root can be used on its own directly on the body and hair, or incorporated into your cosmetic products. It will be ideally suited as a base for the production of ointments for eczema or psoriasis, insect bites or sunburn. It will help in products against wrinkles and small stretch marks and will fulfil its role excellently also in products intended for the care of dry and brittle hair.

More detailed information about the product quality can be found in the certificate, which we update with each new batch.

All supplied raw materials are of cosmetic grade, unsuitable for internal use. Use appropriate protective equipment when handling.
