Chinese schizandra CO₂-to extract ORGANIC is a pure plant oil extract obtained from dried fruits of Schisandra sphenanthera by supercritical carbon dioxide extraction. This process is carried out without the use of chemical solvents, heavy metals or salts, thus preserving the high purity and biological activity of the raw material. The extract has a brown colour, an oily consistency and a subtle, aromatic scent typical for schizandra fruits. Thanks to its content of unique lignans, it belongs among the most valuable extracts of traditional Chinese phytotherapy, which have soothing, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. It is a CO₂-to (total extract) – a complete extract containing the full spectrum of plant constituents, including essential and fatty oils, lignans and sterols.
