The plastic bottle represents a practical and reliable packaging suitable for various types of liquid and slightly viscous preparations in cosmetics and household chemicals. Thanks to its construction, it is ideal for safe dosing and storage of products that require clean, stable and robust packaging. The glossy surface has a professional appearance and supports the premium look of the final product, and at the same time it is suitable for adding your own label or branding.
This packaging is designed to withstand normal handling, transport and storage without the risk of undesirable leakage of the contents. The appropriately selected plastic material provides good barrier protection for commonly used cosmetic and technical formulations, and the bottle can be conveniently combined with various types of closures and dispensing systems.
The bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing options (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the Handymade offer. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – in particular with regard to sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and subsequently disinfected with a suitable product, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. In this way you minimise the risk of microbial contamination and maintain the stability of your formulations.
First mechanically rinse the packaging with lukewarm water and a suitable cleaning agent to remove residues of the previous product. Then thoroughly rinse the bottle with clean water and let it drain. Perform the final disinfection by applying alcohol (e.g. IPA or ethanol from the Handymade offer) to the inner and outer surface, and let any excess liquid evaporate. Only then is the packaging ready for new filling.
The plastic material used for this type of packaging is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures. Boiling, sterilisation in boiling water or washing in a dishwasher is not recommended, because there is a risk of deformation of the packaging and deterioration of sealing properties. The recommended method of hygienic maintenance is gentle washing at lower temperatures and disinfection with alcohol.
When choosing, we recommend primarily using combinations of packaging and closures that are offered together directly on Handymade – these are tested in terms of dimensions and functionality. If you decide to combine the packaging and closure separately, always carry out your own test: check the sealing when shaken, behaviour during long-term storage and material compatibility with your formulation (especially for products with a higher content of alcohol, essential oils or perfume oils).
To choose a suitable bottle, pill bottle or jar, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging category. After clicking on the relevant category, you will find the filter at the top of the page, where you can sort products according to parameters such as neck, size, colour and material. Thanks to this you can easily find packaging that will meet the volume of your product, the dosing method and the visual concept of your brand.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, it is recommended to recycle it in accordance with the information given in the product parameters (in particular according to the material used and the recycling symbol). Before placing it in the appropriate sorted-waste container, remove any product residues and at least roughly rinse the packaging. By sorting waste correctly, you help reduce the amount of waste and ensure that the material from the bottle can be processed again.
