The soap base ZENISOAPBASE is used for making soaps and soap bouquets.

It has a plant-based base and the resulting soap has excellent foaming properties and, thanks to the high glycerin content, it also moisturizes the skin very well. It is a transparent base that is also more suitable for more demanding projects. During longer standing there is no loss of volume of the soap casts (important especially when creating bouquets). The soap base is free from animal fats and oils – 100% vegan.

The soap base ZENISOAPBASE MAXI Olive-W is a high-quality, SLS-free soap base with an intense white color and a content of saponified extra virgin olive oil. Suitable for producing mild, creamy soaps with rich lather and a pleasant feel on the skin.

When coloring the base with ZENICOLOR dyes, we recommend mixing 70% of the transparent base CLEAR and 30% of the white base WHITE in order to avoid excessive consumption of dyes.

Melting temperature: 65 °C
Do not exceed a temperature of 75 °C when heating!

Working with the soap base is not difficult at all. Simply cut the required amount of soap base into smaller pieces, which will speed up the melting phase of the base. Slowly heat the base in a water bath or in the microwave. Be careful, the base must not boil, so heat it slowly. You can add a few drops of essential or fragrance oil, liquid or powder colorant and, to make it more special, dried herbs to the melted base.

Stir slowly to avoid creating unnecessary air bubbles, which would form holes after solidification. Pour the soap base into the prepared mold. Immediately after pouring, we recommend applying a few sprays of a bubble remover – this is 99% isopropanol – using a sprayer. The final step is to let it solidify. After unmolding you can use the soap immediately, but we recommend letting the base rest for about 2 weeks for better properties.
