The 250 ml brown glass bottle represents a professional packaging solution suitable for liquid preparations that require reliable protection and a presentable appearance. The dark glass helps protect the sensitive contents from light, which is important for products containing plant extracts, oils or active substances prone to degradation. This bottle is a practical solution for artisan and semi-professional production, where emphasis is placed on packaging quality, hygiene and easy handling during filling and use.
Yes, the glass bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned, any residues of the previous product removed, and then disinfected with a suitable disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. After disinfection, allow the bottle and the closure to dry completely, ideally at room temperature in a clean place, and only then refill it.
Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, then rinsing thoroughly with water and allowing it to dry. After the packaging and the closure have dried, it is advisable to carry out disinfection using alcohol (for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol). Allow the disinfectant to act briefly and then let the packaging air dry. Only after the alcohol has completely evaporated is the packaging ready to be filled with sensitive cosmetic formulations.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly. After emptying and basic rinsing, the glass bottle belongs in the container designated for glass, while plastic or metal closures must be sorted according to material into the appropriate bins. Before placing it in separate collection, remove product residues so that the bottle is not heavily soiled. Specific recommendations for sorting and recycling can also be found in the parameter table for the product, where the material type and the recommended method of recycling are indicated.
In practice, brown glass is often used to package preparations containing oils, plant extracts and other sensitive components, because it helps to limit light penetration to the contents. In this way, it can help slow down oxidative processes and extend the stability of formulations. Even when using dark glass, however, we recommend storing products away from direct sunlight, at a stable temperature and in a dry environment, in order to support the longest possible shelf life and quality of your preparations.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. In the advanced filter it is possible to combine several parameters at once – for example the type and size of the neck, the volume or size of the container, colour, material and other properties. Thanks to this, you can quickly select bottles, jars or pots that correspond to your formulation and the desired packaging style. When choosing, we also recommend taking into account the planned type of closure or dosing system, so that the resulting combination is practical and functional for the end user.
